Tips to Make the Most of Your Visit

Loon Mountain welcomes media visits, and we are more than happy to provide any assistance with your story.

Media Planning Guide

Loon Mountain welcomes media visits, and we are more than happy to provide any assistance with your story.

In order to assist you further, we'll need to know:

  • The purpose of your visit
  • Your media affiliation
  • When and how long you plan to visit

We will do our best to accommodate your dates, but there may be times when we suggest other dates to avoid scheduling conflicts. We also ask that you send your story to us once it has been published.

Let us know if you are interested in tying in a visit to Sugarloaf, Sunday River or another Boyne Resort around your trip to Loon Mountain, and we can work with their Communications Manager to help get you started.

Complimentary Lift Tickets

Complimentary lift tickets may be issued to media on assignment and are subject to availability and approval.

Complimentary Lodging

Depending on availability and the time of year, we may be able to provide complimentary or discounted lodging for a limited time to visiting media who are on assignment. Please be sure to include with your request date and party information.

If you plan to visit during a peak period, please give us at least two weeks' notice, and we will do our best to assist you with finding a media rate for lodging.

Photo and Video Shoots

If you'd like to set up a photo or video shoot, please give us as much notice as possible, and let us know what you will need for assistance. If your request is approved, we will do our best to support your needs for a successful shoot.

We appreciate your interest in Loon Mountain! Give us a call or shoot us an email.
