Loon is now closed for the winter season.

Now all lift access products utilize an RFID-enabled Go Card, making it convenient to head directly to the slopes!

Have questions about Loon's RFID-enabled Go Cards for lift tickets and passes? Check out the FAQs for answers.

Lift Ticket FAQs

  • Go Card is our RFID-enabled ticket.

  • You can also pick up your Go Card at any Information Desk or ticket window around the resort.

  • Keep it in your jacket, away from cellphone, keys, or anything metal. Our dual-antenna gates will be able to read your ticket from a pocket on any side of your jacket.

  • No. A hole punch will break the antenna inside the pass and break it.

  • Nope. Your Go Card can be loaded with multiple days. Once the days are added to your card you can go right to the lift.

  • Stop by any Information desk and a team member can assist you.

  • Put your Go Card in your jacket pocket and head directly to the lift.

  • Of course, you can. Visit any ticket window or Information Desk and a team member will load it for you.

  • You can use your Go Card every time you come to Loon. Use the Reload Code on the back of the card to add additional days.

  • No, your GO Card and Season Pass will last for years if you take care of it. You will need to reload your GO Card and/or renew your season pass.

New England Pass and Loon Season Pass FAQs

  • Not every time. RFID-enabled gates will be installed at five lifts across the resort. Season passes printed in fall 2019 will be printed on dual-frequency RFID-enabled stock that will be automatically scanned at each gate.

  • Yes. Please visit any Information Desk and to get your RFID-enabled pass.

  • Not yet. The printed pass you've picked up there is not a RFID-enabled pass. If your pass was printed at Sunday River or Sugarloaf, you will first need to visit one of our Information Desks, located inside the Gondola Barn, at the Governor Adams Lodge or at Pemigewasset Base Camp. There, you can pick up your new RFID-enabled pass that you can use for the rest of the winter and enjoy direct-to-lift access at all three resorts.

  • Bring your season pass and your friend to any ticket window to buy your ticket(s).

  • You bet! Present your pass to the lift attendant at Sunday River and/or Sugarloaf for scanning.

  • Yes, as long as it's an RFID-enabled pass. Your Gold and Gold Plus New England Pass allow for 3 days of direct-to-lift access to Big Sky Resort.

  • No, your season pass should last for a couple of years. You will need to renew your season pass at the end of each season, though. Use the Renew Code on the back of your pass to renew online.

Ikon Pass FAQs

  • Yes! If you already have your printed Ikon Pass or Ikon Base Pass, go directly to the lift.

  • Bring your printed season pass and your friend to any ticket window to buy your ticket(s).
